MEMBERSHIP TOOL BOX
District 5420 is in the midst of the seasonal PET and Assembly training push with the Southern training just being completed and Northern training upcoming March 10th and 11th. Various ideas regarding recruiting new members as well as maintaining the existing membership are part of the PET and Assembly programs but other membership training resources are available year-round.
This is a quick reminder of where to find membership resources and a request for each Rotarian to sign up for a “My Rotary” account. All the information required to develop a member recruitment program or to assess existing member satisfaction is available on the Rotary International (RI) website (https://www.rotary.org/). The easiest way to get familiar with the vast public image, membership, foundation, and service resources on the RI website is to set up a “My Rotary” account at the following link https://my.rotary.org/en.
One of the best resources available to District 5420 Rotarians interested in growing or maintaining membership is the Zone 21b and 27 website; specifically, the area entitled Tool Box https://www.rotary2127.com/tool-box/. The Tool Box page has links to more than a dozen topics ranging from “Attracting Young Professionals” and “Gaining Diversity” through “Strategic Planning”. If you want to grow your club or minimize member turnover, visit the Tool Box page to get started. Please help us grow Rotary in District 5420 so we can better serve others.
As always if you have questions regarding the recruitment of new members or maintaining your existing membership numbers, please contact Paul or Brett at the email addresses listed below:
